Your data
Privacy policy
How we collect, use and look after your personal information, in plain English.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Who we are
dylDigital is a web design, software, branding and SEO studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, run by Dylan. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email dylan@dyldigital.com or call 07925 335457.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us, when you:
- send an enquiry through our contact form, which can include your name, email address, the services you're interested in, your rough budget and your message
- email or phone us directly
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we never need your payment details through this website.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, give you advice and quotes, and, if you decide to work with us, to deliver your project and keep in touch about it. We won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Under UK data protection law, our lawful basis is that you've asked us to get in touch or provide a quote (steps taken before entering a contract), and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. When you send the contact form, your enquiry is passed to your own email app and sent to us by email, so it's handled by our email provider. We only share your details with anyone else where it's needed to deliver work you've asked us to do, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Cookies and third parties
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit. You can read more in Google's privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
To make a request, email dylan@dyldigital.com. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please get in touch first and we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
